Hike NS features
free guided hike events organized by our partners across the province. There is a growing list of
hiking clubs and groups that would welcome you on one of their excursions as well.
Hike Leaders & Tours
Hike NS does not have the volunteer or staff capacity to provide hike leaders to specific groups. Your options are to:
- Take part in the free guided hikes or hiking club events listed in the links above.
- Connect with a local tour operator. If you are looking for a guided hiking tour with interpretation, transportation, gear, food/refreshments or special activities, please contact one of Nova Scotia’s excellent tour operators listed at www.novascotia.com ((click on Things To Do; click on on Hiking under the Outdoor Activities & Tours heading; scroll down to the Browse Hiking Trails & Tours section; click on Filters; click Tours).
