Backpacking with Children Webinar

Taking place on Wednesday, February 12 at 7 pm, Hike Nova Scotia’s Backpacking with Children webinar is for those interested in backpacking with kids.

Join us for Backpacking with Children: Setting the Stage for a Positive, Safe, and Memorable Family Adventure. This will be a relaxed and supportive online session designed to inspire families to hit the trails together. Drawing on real-life experience, this workshop will offer practical tips to help you navigate gear sizing, keep young hikers fuelled and motivated, and manage the inevitable hiccups along the way. Discover strategies for pacing, learn to embrace the small wins, and explore how to foster a sense of independence and fun in the outdoors. Whether you’re new to family backpacking or simply looking for new insights, you’ll leave feeling more confident, prepared, and excited to share meaningful adventures with your children. Let’s celebrate fresh air, scenic views, and the journey that unfolds when we simply take that first step together.
